Canon Michael arrives in Littlethorpe

  Wednesday 5^th March 2008 at 7.30pm, 

Canon Michael Glanville-Smith

was licensed as Priest with Pastoral Responsibility for Littlethorpe,

within the Parish of Ripon Cathedral.

The Service was conducted by James, Bishop of Knaresborough,

assisted by Dean Keith Jukes.

Littlethorpe Parish Pinfold

Parishioners  can now see that a stone has been erected on the site of the Parish Pinfold which has been cleared and will be kept cleared. The stone with its inscription provides  a simple reminder to future generations that this is the site of a Parish owned holding area, formerly used to constrain stray animals.  Cllr.
